Overview
The Compliance Engine turns compliance from a manual process into a property of the infrastructure. It enforces KYC/AML and investor-eligibility rules automatically, drawing on reusable identity from SBX ID, so that only verified, eligible parties can hold or receive a token. It works alongside the Regulatory Wrappers module to apply the rules that fit each asset and jurisdiction.
How it connects
The Compliance Engine sits across issuance and settlement. It draws reusable identity from ZK Identity (SBX ID) and applies the per-jurisdiction rules supplied by Regulatory Wrappers, so every transfer is checked against current rules before it completes.
