What it does
MPC Custody secures the private keys behind tokenised assets using multi-party computation, the institutional standard in which a key is split so that no single party ever holds a complete signing key and no single point of compromise exists. This is the same class of technology used by leading institutional custody providers. Where a regulatory regime requires it, the module integrates with qualified custodians.
How it works
MPC Custody secures the keys beneath every asset in the ecosystem. It works alongside Proof of Reserve (which proves what is held) and the Security & Audit Layer (which hardens the whole platform), and integrates qualified custodians where required.
